UBA Sets to Equip MSMEs
United Bank for Africa (UBA) is set to enhance the capabilities of Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) through the final edition of its quarterly Business Series for the year. This initiative aims to provide entrepreneurs with essential wealth management strategies and tools to thrive in a dynamic business environment.

According to a statement released by the bank, the theme for this quarter’s session is “Profit with Purpose, Business Continuity.” The event will take place on Thursday at UBA’s headquarters in Lagos, offering participants valuable insights on business sustainability and growth.
The UBA Business Series is a well-established capacity-building platform designed to support small business owners. Through this initiative, industry leaders and professionals share practical insights and strategies to help entrepreneurs navigate the complexities of managing successful enterprises, particularly in challenging economic climates.
The upcoming edition will feature a distinguished lineup of speakers, including award-winning filmmaker and producer Bolanle Austen-Peters, who will headline the event. Other prominent panelists include Dr. James Asare-Adjei, founder and CEO of Asadtek Group Limited, Ghana; multimedia entrepreneur and TV personality Frank Edoho; media personality Toke Makinwa; and Princess Adeyinka Tekena, founder of Nigeria’s premium indigenous coffee brand, Happy Coffee.

Shamsideen Fashola, UBA’s Group Head of Retail and Digital Banking, highlighted the significance of the event, emphasizing the bank’s commitment to empowering small businesses.
