The United Bank for Africa (UBA) over the weekend had a reunion with their ex-colleagues at the Standard Trust Bank.
The reunion which was tagged 𝐎𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐨𝐧(𝐞𝐬𝐬), 𝐀𝐥𝐰𝐚𝐲𝐬 𝐚 𝐋𝐢𝐨𝐧(𝐞𝐬𝐬) was attended by dignitaries from both Standard Trust Bank (STB) and United Bank for Africa (UBA).
This was made known by UBA through their social media handles. In their statement, they said, “Over the weekend, we joined our ex-colleagues at the Standard Trust Bank (STB) reunion, rekindling the spirit of camaraderie that once defined their professional journey.
Today’s UBA is an amalgamation of the Standard Trust Bank (STB) and the United Bank for Africa (UBA) UBA Group – a fusion of legacy, strength, dynamism, agility, and energy – Their efforts laid the groundwork for a historic moment in African finance —the merger of STB and UBA Group in 2005 and propelled careers, transformed lives, and forged relationships destined to endure.“
The added that they recognised how important their alums are and the great way they represent them.
We recognise our alums’s value to us, to Africa and as ambassadors who have contributed to the bank’s legacy, rich diversity, and heritage over the years.
They used the medium to invite their ex-colleagues that have not joined their network to do to ensure that they spirit of excellence, enterprise and execution they share will not die.
