A 21-storey building under construction has collapsed in Lagos State leaving many people trapped in the building.
The building, which is under construction, is located at off Alexander Avenue, Gerrard Road in Ikoyi Lagos State.
It has been reported by eyewitness that unspecified number of construction workers are trapped in the rubble including the owner of the building.
As the time of filing this report, no one has been rescued but a team of policemen and an ambulance were seen at the location almost two hours after the incident.

What has also caught the attention of many is the letter that has gone viral on social media. In the letter, a company, Prowess Engineering Limited, which was handling the construction of the building withdrew from the project on 20th February, 2020.
